Terms & Conditions

Sarah Rachael Makeup | Hair | Lashes

By booking an appointment with Sarah Rachael Makeup, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Booking Fees

A booking fee is required to secure all appointments, including Hair, Makeup, Bridal and Lash services.

Booking fees:

  • Are non-refundable

  • Are non-transferable to another client or date

  • Are deducted from the total cost of your service on the day

  • Must be paid for the appointment to be confirmed

Appointments are not secured until the booking fee has been received.


Bridal Bookings

All bridal bookings require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your wedding date and artist availability.

This fee is deducted from your final invoice.

Final numbers, locations and timings must be confirmed by the agreed confirmation date.


Cancellations & Rescheduling

General Studio & Lash Appointments

Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours of your appointment will result in:

  • 100% of the service amount becoming payable

No-shows will be charged 100% of the booked service.

If unpaid, the balance will be added to your next booking and must be paid before any future appointments.

Mobile (On-Location) Appointments

Due to travel time and blocked availability, mobile bookings require more notice.

Cancellations or reschedules within 72 hours will result in:

  • 100% of the service total becoming payable

Unpaid balances must be settled before any future bookings.

Bridal Cancellations

Wedding dates are limited and cannot easily be replaced.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the wedding date:
    100% of the booked service total is payable

  • Cancellations within 14 days:
    Booking fee remains non-refundable and remaining balance may be charged at Sarah Rachael Makeup’s discretion.


Late Arrivals

Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in:

  • A shortened service, or

  • Cancellation with the full service amount charged

    No-Show Policy (Very Important Clause)

    A no-show is defined as failing to attend your scheduled appointment without notice, or without sufficient notice as outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

  • If you do not attend your appointment and do not provide notice:

    • The appointment will be treated as a no-show

    • 100% of the booked service total becomes payable

    • Any unpaid balance will be added to your client account

    • Outstanding balances must be paid before any future bookings can be made

    Outstanding balances from no-shows may be carried forward and applied to a future booking if payment is not received on the day of the missed appointment.



Refund Policy

No refunds are provided for:

  • Booking fees

  • Completed services

If you are unhappy with your service, please advise during your appointment so adjustments can be made.

Public Liability & Client Responsibility

Sarah Rachael Makeup holds current Public Liability Insurance for both in-studio and mobile services.

By booking and attending an appointment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Beauty services involve close contact with skin, eyes, hair and cosmetic products

  • Individual results and reactions vary from person to person

  • You are responsible for disclosing any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or relevant history prior to your appointment

Sarah Rachael Makeup is not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions where allergies or sensitivities were not disclosed

  • Irritation, redness, breakouts or sensitivities caused by products or treatments

  • Results affected by aftercare not being followed

  • Injury or damage caused by client movement, non-compliance or unsafe behaviour

For mobile appointments, clients must provide a safe, clean and suitable working space.

Sarah Rachael Makeup is not responsible for injury or damage caused by unsafe environments, pets, children, or obstacles at the booking location.

This clause does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Studio Information

  • Studio access requires stairs

  • Parking is available onsite or on the street

  • Bathroom facilities are available

  • Friendly fur babies are on site — please advise if this is an issue

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.

Photography & Content

Photos and videos may be taken for portfolio, website and social media use.

Faces will not be tagged without consent.

Please advise if you do not wish to be photographed

Right to Refuse Service

Sarah Rachael Makeup reserves the right to refuse service for unsafe, inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour.

Agreement

By booking an appointment, paying a booking fee or attending a service, you confirm you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
